POSTDOCTORAL OPPORTUNITIES IN EPITRANSCRIPTOMICS AND EMERGING TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT

Posted on December 6,

The Meyer Lab in the Department of Biochemistry at Duke University is looking for 1-2 postdocs to join our team of highly motivated scientists as we investigate RNA modifications and their roles in cellular function. Our lab is at the forefront of epitranscriptomics research and develops cutting-edge methods to understand functional roles of RNA methylation in the control of gene expression. We have several exciting projects aimed at new technology development as well as investigation of RNA methylation in cellular function and disease. In addition, we have projects using single-cell methods to study m6A in the brain and other tissues and to elucidate how mRNA methylation contributes to disease as well as to aging and development. We are looking for passionate and talented scientists to join our group and to lead these exciting new projects.

All research backgrounds are welcome, but experience in molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, or RNA biology is preferred. In addition, those with expertise in computational biology/bioinformatics are highly encouraged to apply. Come join our fantastic team and be a part of the excellent RNA environment at Duke!
