Postdoctoral Fellow and Staff Scientist Position in Neurobiology, RNA Biology, or Computational Biology

The Sika Zheng lab http://zhenglab.ucr.edu and the Center for RNA Biology and Medicine  https://rna.ucr.edu/ at the University of California Riverside are seeking a motivated scientist who is curious and passionate about science.

  • The position will lead projects to investigate the emerging roles of alternative splicing and nonsense-mediated mRNA decay in neuronal longevity, axon formation, and neurodegeneration, built upon recent discoveries in the Zheng lab.

  • An amazing opportunity to continue training in neuroscience and RNA biology with an emphasis on cutting-edge cell and molecular biology, imaging, genome editing, genetics, biochemistry, ribogenomics, and informatics approaches.
