Lead Scientist Position in RNA Biology, Biochemistry, or Molecular Biology

BioFutures LLC is a fully funded research organization whose purpose is to advance in vivo innovations in the field of interventive gerontology.

BioFutures is seeking an experienced lead scientist with practical hands-on experience designing and testing (in vitro and in vivo) RNA payload design for LNP-delivered investigational therapeutics to consult on a project with possible path to full-time employment.

The position will lead projects in investigational LNP-based gene therapy supporting a fast-paced and impactful program designing, producing, testing, and characterizing the effects of an investigational regenerative RNA therapeutic in mice and in non-human primates.

• A Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology, or other directly relevant field is required. 
• Demonstrable independent competence in designing and (successfully) testing RNA payloads driving protein expression in vivo
• Experience with LNP systems is required
• Experience delivering complex payloads (large/complex constructs) and experience with transcription factors are helpful
• The position can be remote or local
• Competitive rate or salary commensurate with experience
